The Yupoo QC checklist we actually use

Twelve photos, six questions, one decision: approve or reject.

The short version

What to keep in front of you

Shop with the checklist →
01

Compare the QC set against the original listing, angle by angle.

02

Ask for the missing angles before judging quality.

03

Reject with evidence and a specific remedy.

04

Never approve after consolidation if you have doubts.

Before you look at the photos

Open the original listing beside the QC set. If the listing has five angles and the warehouse sent two, you are not comparing like with like. Ask for the missing angles first.

Check the order details: size, colour, quantity and version. A perfect item in the wrong size is still a reject.

  • Listing open on one side
  • Order details on the other
  • A neutral background and no filters

The photo set

For apparel: front, back, collar, cuff, hem, label and a flat measurement. For shoes: both sides, toe box, heel, tongue label, outsole and insole. For bags: front, base, corners, handle, hardware and interior.

If the seller cannot provide one of those, ask why. “Not available” is an answer you can act on before shipping.

The six questions

Does the shape match the listing? Is the colour accurate under neutral light? Are seams straight and stitching even? Is the hardware the right finish and weight? Do the measurements match the chart? Is this the version you paid for?

Six yes answers is a pass. One clear no is a reject. “It looks fine” is not a decision.

Rejecting without drama

State the problem, attach the comparison photo and name the fix you want: exchange, refund or discount. Vague complaints get vague responses.

Do this before consolidation. After the parcel is packed, your options shrink dramatically.

Questions from readers

How many QC photos is normal?

Three to six for a basic item, more for shoes and bags. You can request specific angles through your agent.

Can I pay for extra QC?

Some agents offer detailed or video QC for a fee. It is worth it on high-value items.

What if the seller refuses QC?

Treat that as a risk signal. Buy from a seller who provides photos, or use an agent that photographs on receipt.

Is video QC better than photos?

It helps with movement, hardware operation and fabric drape, but stills are better for stitching detail. Ask for both on expensive pieces.

What if the item arrives different from QC?

Report immediately with unboxing photos and the QC set. The agent or line may cover it if the difference is documented.
